Since 2014, the Quebec Graphic Design Society (SDGQ) has been organizing an annual poster competition on a different social theme related to current events. For this edition, the mandate was to create an awareness poster under the theme “Un toit. Un droit.”(A Roof. A Right.)

My poster denounces the dehumanization of tenants, seen as mere sources of income for landlords through the slogan “I am more than just a door.” The naked figure symbolizes the vulnerability of tenants, and the door handle on their back reinforces the metaphor. The dominance of brown underscores the unsanitary conditions of housing.
