ADVERTISING

Creation of an advertising campaign for the play “The Boys in the Band” by Mart Crowley, which explores the relationships and internal struggles of a group of homosexual friends during a birthday party in New York. Design of a poster, a digital advertisement, and a leaflet, the latter with the constraint of using black and a Pantone color.

I used a phone as the central symbol, acting as a catalyst for the plot where the characters contact their past loves, thus catalyzing the emotions and tensions of the play. The choice of pink symbolizes the vibrant identity of the queer characters, and the pale blue evokes the sometimes dark emotional aspects of the story.
